seconds

I wake up at 6:48 am every morning, have breakfast around 7:25 or so, and I'm gone by 7:35 for school. Everyday! And my parents can attest to it! What went haywire this morning, I could not tell you, but by 6:08 am I said to myself, "Fool, you still have 40 minutes left, go back to bed."
Alas, I had a wonderful sleep, I will not lie. Probably because I slept in an hour late. "Oh shit mate, school starts in five." To hell with it! Junior year ends in less then a week. Technically, in 6 hours or so over a weeks period. I have no motive to attend the last Friday. I don't know if I could sit through another 55 minutes of "Miracle on Ice" because my history teacher ran out of information. So, in a nutshell, I stayed home and successfully executed and completed this:

Aha! It's always been a fault of mine. I'm so jumpy I never have the attention span to finish anything. So basically, I'm pretty proud of myself for sitting through this and knocking it out in four hours or so. Of course dappled with the periodic breaks to walk downstairs and eat a strawberry, come back upstairs, indulge in some more Planet Earth (I'm lucky enough to have the DVDs, so there was plenty I could do in the time I had it playing the background), then just fussing with it some more. I'd have to say, nothing beats sitting at home watching high def nature on your television while painting knowing that all your peers at sitting at school melting with boredom.

When I can get a hold on some ungodly large canvases, I'm going to attempt something ungodly large. I suppose I wouldn't have a choice.

Also, NYC
It's happening over the summer for the first time,
